CORPINNAT has become consolidated as a qualitative reference for special sparkling wines of the Penedès that are 100% ecological and of lengthy ageing.
The collective brand name CORPINNAT has consolidated itself during these first three years of its life as a qualitative reference for special sparkling 100% ecological wines from the Penedès, totally produced in the wineries and with lengthy ageing. 80% of the CORPINNAT bottles reach the market with ageing of more than 30 months and with a total of 17% with more than 60 months, far above the average for sparkling wines for the whole of Spain.
This differential characteristic of quality, in conjunction with the remaining values required by the Rules for Use of the Brand are the aspects that are most appreciated by consumers and they have also received international recognition as can be seen from the fact that CORPINNAT sparkling wines are present in 55 countries all over the world where the group of the ten wineries that make up the brand export 19.8% of their production.

As included in the economic profile drawn up from the data provided by each winery and included in the annual audited accounts during 2020 the ten CORPINNAT wineries sold 1.7 million bottles, 22%less than in 2019 and invoiced a total of 16.8 million Euros, 19% less than the previous year, all due to the crisis generated by the Covid-19 Pandemic. This fall in sales has a direct relationship to the restrictions imposed on the restaurant sector, one of the main sales channels for the CORPINNAT wineries.
Currently the CORPINNAT wineries have on the market a total of 62 sparkling wine products. According to the data that has been collected the average price to the public of a bottle is around 17 Euros.
With regards to exports that represent 19.8% of total production, the ten top countries where there is a greater presence of CORPINNAT sparkling wines are: The USA, Germany, Andorra, Japan, The United Kingdom, Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, and Denmark.
Other interesting data highlight the potential and foundational values of CORPINNAT: 604 hectares of vineyards, 228 hectares of third party or leased vineyards, 52 winegrowing suppliers, 223 people work-force between all the wineries, 15 work centres. Among the ten CORPINNAT wineries there were 34,827 wine tourism visits in 2019.
A mention of the social profile in the study of the ten brands that today make up CORPINNAT (Gramona, Llopart, Nadal, Recaredo, Sabaté I Coca, Torelló, Huguet-Can Freixes, Júlia Bernat, Mas Candí i Can Descregut) confirms the roots of the family businesses in the territory, their undertaking with the associative, cultural and sporting (solidary actions) framework, as well as with international recognition by means of the positioning of the brands in the principal guide books and in the most prestigious wine competitions of the world.
With regards to the undertaking of sustainability, CORPINNAT wineries from ecology point of view stand behind the phenomena of renewable and efficient energies, for sustainable forestry management, for promotion of biodiversity, and by the defence of the land and the landscape, as well as the recuperation of stone shepherds’ huts and dry-walls as characteristic elements of the wine-growing areas of the Penedès.
