Viader is the new member of the CORPINNAT collective brand after passing all the mandatory audits. There are now fourteen wineries from the Penedès region that make up the collective, producing sparkling wines following one of the most demanding regulations in the world in terms of rigor and quality (100% organic grapes, manual harvesting, full vinification at the property, long aging, among others).
Since its founding on April 10, 2018, CORPINNAT has integrated the following wineries: Gramona, Llopart, Nadal, Recaredo, Sabaté i Coca, Torelló, Huguet de Can Feixes, Júlia Bernet, Mas Candí, Can Descregut, Pardas, Bufadors, Cisteller, and, as of today, Viader.
Entrepreneur
Celler Viader is the personal adventure of Eduard Viader. An agronomist by training and an enthusiast by vocation, who, in 2009, at just twenty-one years old, began the journey of producing his own sparkling wines.
For more than a decade, Eduard's adventure took shape in a small cava in the center of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia until, in 2018, he discovered an old abandoned farmhouse surrounded by vineyards very close to Espiells: Can Rossell de la Llena. It has since been renovated, incorporating sustainability as a fundamental pillar of the winery, as well as the intention to promote and enhance the sparkling wines and the wines of Penedès. These are two of the core values of the Collective Brand and the main reasons for deciding to become part of CORPINNAT.
Strength for the Territory {Hope}
Viader takes a bold step towards quality and the defense of the territory: by vinifying 100% of its wines in its own facilities, which also includes cultivating its own vineyards. A strong commitment to the growth of the project.
Joining CORPINNAT represents a double gain, consolidating an increasingly consistent collective project that keeps the viticultural fabric of Penedès alive. Thanks to its strength, the challenges of the territory can be faced with security and confidence, with a hopeful vision for the future in the face of the strong threats that jeopardize this landscape.
The strong commitment to quality from all the CORPINNAT member wineries is already bearing fruit, with an increase in value across the entire viticultural sector.
With this new addition, CORPINNAT reaffirms its open and inclusive approach with the goal of strengthening a sector that not only fights for itself but also incorporates the defense of the landscape, the support of agriculture, and, ultimately, the identity of its wines and territory.
