A New Chapter for Corpinnat: Renewal of the Board of Directors

Pere Llopart and Roc Gramona take on the roles of President and Vice President with the challenge of continuing to strengthen the collective brand
Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, May 6, 2025
The Association of Viticulturists and Winemakers Corpinnat (AVEC) has renewed its executive leadership. Ton Mata (Recaredo) and Xavier Nadal (Nadal), until now president and vice president respectively, close a four-year chapter marked by growth and recognition of the project.
Pere Llopart, co-owner and technical director of Llopart, has been elected as the new president of Corpinnat, leading the only candidacy submitted in the association’s elections. He is joined by Roc Gramona, technical director of Gramona, as vice president. The candidacy was unanimously approved on Monday, May 5, by the AVEC members' assembly.
With this transition, the Board of Directors is also renewed and is now composed of:
• President: Pere Llopart (Llopart)
• Vice President: Roc Gramona (Gramona)
• Secretary: Xavier Bernet (Júlia Bernet)
• Treasurer: Xavier Nadal (Nadal)
• Members: Marcel Sabaté (Sabaté i Coca), Ferran Junoy (Recaredo), and Toni de la Rosa (Torelló)
Ton Mata will remain involved with AVEC as the representative of his personal project, Bufadors, while Ferran Junoy will represent Recaredo in the assembly and on the board.
Jaume Mata, former manager and secretary of the association in recent years, will not continue. He steps down during this transition to begin a well-earned retirement. Mata has played a key role in the early stages and institutional consolidation of Corpinnat.
Thanks to the outgoing board and welcome to the new leadership
AVEC would like to express deep gratitude to the outgoing Board of Directors, especially Ton Mata and Xavier Nadal, for their dedication, leadership, and vision. Their commitment has been essential in establishing Corpinnat as a solid and respected collective brand, a benchmark for quality sparkling wine in the country.
We also acknowledge the valuable contribution of Jaume Mata, who, with rigor and perseverance, has accompanied the project from its beginnings to the present day, playing a decisive role in its development and projection.
With the same spirit of collaboration and collective vision, we welcome the new Board of Directors, led by Pere Llopart and Roc Gramona, and thank them for their enthusiasm and willingness to continue growing Corpinnat with integrity, coherence, and a commitment to its founding values.
Continuity and first public event
The new leadership remains fully committed to the project’s roadmap and core values: “We continue along the established path, fully committed to our unconditional principles: territory, ecology, quality, historical grape varieties, manual harvest, and estate vinification,” said the new president, Pere Llopart.
The day-to-day operations of the association will remain under the management of Carles del Amor.
The new board’s first public event will take place on Monday, May 12, with the presentation of the fifth edition of the Corpinnat Gastronomic Festival, a series of summer dinners at the wineries featuring renowned chefs. This initiative, launched in 2021 to support the hospitality sector after the pandemic, has become a highlight of the food and wine calendar.
