Corpinnat signs a collaboration agreement with Oller
Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, July 8, 2025
Corpinnat and the company Francisco Oller, specialized in cork stopper manufacturing since 1892, officially signed a collaboration agreement this past Monday aimed at improving various aspects of the sealing process for sparkling wines from its member wineries. The agreement also includes Oller's participation as a collaborator in the upcoming edition of the Festa de la Verema (Harvest Festival), scheduled for October 10, 2025.
The signing was made public in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, with the participation of Corpinnat president Pere Llopart and Oller president Joan J. Puig. This collaboration stems from a shared commitment to promote natural cork as a high-quality, local material and to support better adaptation of this key element in long-aged sparkling wines.
Research, consultancy, and local engagement
The agreement covers several areas of action, from launching joint research projects to study how cork interacts with Corpinnat sparkling wines during aging, to organizing technical seminars in the Penedès region featuring international speakers from Champagne and Franciacorta, providing personalized technical advice to improve corking processes, as well as arranging visits to Oller’s facilities.
Oller, a partner of the Festa de la Verema
As part of the agreement, Oller will also take part as a partner entity in the IV Festa de la Verema 2025, one of the most significant annual events for Corpinnat. The gathering will be held at the Finca Nadal de la Boadella (Torrelavit) and will bring together all Corpinnat wineries and more than 50 sparkling wines, paired with five specially created tapas for the occasion.
Commitment to quality and origin
With this collaboration, Corpinnat reinforces its commitment to quality, sustainability, and regional roots. Partnering with a manufacturer like Oller enables progress in technical knowledge applied to cork aging and represents another step forward in the joint effort to preserve the identity and added value of origin-based sparkling wines.
