CORPINNAT presented its project to the Catalan business community at an event held at Pimec’s headquarters on the occasion of CORPINNAT’s incorporation as a collective partner of the employers’ association for small and medium-sized enterprises. “Joining Pimec is for us both a natural and important alliance”, highlighted CORPINNAT’s President, Pere Llopart, stressing that it represents a step forward in collaboration with Catalonia’s productive sector. The event was led by the President of the Parliament of Catalonia, Josep Rull.
Before more than a hundred Catalan entrepreneurs, CORPINNAT President Pere Llopart and Pimec President Antoni Cañete held a conversation in which they explained the CORPINNAT model, which produces high-quality sparkling wines in the heart of the Penedès Region. During the dialogue, Pere Llopart outlined the values and commitments of the EU collective brand, which operates under one of the world’s most demanding regulations: manual and organic harvesting, complete vinification at the winery, long ageing periods, a commitment to historic grape varieties, and either estate-owned vineyards or long-term contracts with a guaranteed minimum price for winegrowers. “We were born because there was a need to protect a particular way of working oriented toward quality and commitment to the territory” , explained Pere Llopart.

Future challenges
According to Llopart, the brand’s youth, despite it gathers long-standing wineries, and the lack of public financial support due to not being a Designation of Origin are two of the main challenges the brand faces. “Beyond recognition from public institutions, we need financial support”, he stated.
The alliance with Pimec
Pere Llopart highlighted that the alliance with the employers’ association for small and medium-sized enterprises is a “natural step due to shared values and very important.” “We are joining forces to defend SMEs and connecting with business projects that operate with the same values of quality, innovation, and commitment to the country as we do.”
The attendees enjoyed a professional CORPINNAT sparkling wine tasting led by the winery representatives.
