Celler Mir: a winery with deep roots and a contemporary outlook

Celler Mir is a historic winery located in Subirats, in the heart of the Penedès, with a winemaking legacy dating back to 1776. Over 17 generations, the Mir family has cultivated vineyards and produced wines deeply connected to the land, becoming a key part of the region’s vitivinicultural memory. The winery’s history is closely linked to Can Guineu, one of the municipality’s most emblematic houses, and to Marc Mir Capella, an intellectual reference and visionary agronomist who played a key role in the fight against phylloxera. His innovative spirit, grounded in knowledge, resilience and adaptability, continues to inspire the winery’s approach to wine today.
In 2020, following the retirement of Josep Maria Rosell Mir, Celler Mir began a new chapter under the leadership of a multidisciplinary and international team that brought a renewed vision while staying true to the winery’s historic DNA.
Celler Mir practices 100% certified organic viticulture, with full oversight and methods that promote living soils, biodiversity and natural balance. In the cellar, wines are crafted in their entirety with minimal intervention, using concentrated grape must in the secondary fermentation and extended ageing on lees, essential elements for faithfully expressing the character of each vintage and each parcel.
Technological innovation is a tool in the service of the wine: precise temperature control, advanced presses and parcel-by-parcel vinification enable rigorous and accurate work, with limited production that prioritizes quality over quantity.
Today, Celler Mir is a winery looking responsibly toward the future, producing vintage sparkling wines with identity, elegance and depth, faithful to a centuries-old legacy and committed to future generations.
Torné & Bel: where time, land and family are transformed into sparkling wines

In Espiells, in the heart of the Penedès, the family winery Torné & Bel represents the continuity of a winemaking history that began six generations ago. Passion and expertise have been passed down through the family, and since 1991, two generations have been dedicated to crafting their sparkling wines. The first harvest, in 1997, marked the beginning of the family project.
Torné & Bel’s vineyards are cultivated through organic and terroir-respectful viticulture. Xarel·lo, Macabeo, and Parellada are the grape varieties grown, carefully selected to give voice to the landscape, the climate and the identity of the territory. Harvesting is done by hand, with meticulous care to ensure the quality and integrity of each cluster.
The winery is organic and family-run, and winemaking is carried out in an artisanal and sustainable way. The sparkling wines are Brut Nature and clarified on pupitres, maintaining respect for the wine’s natural processes and timing. Each bottle seeks to reflect the personality of the territory and the passion of the family behind it.
Torné & Bel is the expression of a family project deeply rooted in the Penedès, committed to preserving native grape varieties and to organic viticulture that respects the land. Each bottle bears witness to the time, dedication, and sensitivity contributed by every generation, resulting in sparkling wines with a distinctive character.
Another step forward for Corpinnat
With Celler Mir and Torné & Bel, Corpinnat contributes to structuring a sector that not only fights for itself, but also protects the landscape, supports local growers, and celebrates the identity of Penedès sparkling wines. The collective brand continues to grow as a benchmark of quality, sustainability and authenticity in the heart of Catalonia’s wine-growing region.
