Five hundred people took part in the fourth edition of the Corpinnat Base Wine Tasting
Attendees had the opportunity to taste over a hundred wines, and to discover the essence of corpinnats through around fifteen masterclasses
More than 500 people, including professionals, sommeliers, importers, and wine lovers and enthusiasts, had the chance to experience first-hand the essence of Corpinnat at the fourth edition of the Tast de Vins Base (Base Wine Tasting), which brought together the 21 wineries of the collective brand this Sunday, 1 February, at Palau Moxó in Barcelona.
This year, the wine tasting took place throughout the day in morning and afternoon sessions, with proposals adapted to different audiences: wine lovers and enthusiasts, and professionals.
Around 15 masterclasses were held in Catalan, Spanish and English to explore the singularity and specific characteristics of Corpinnat base wines. Led by the wineries’ winemakers, the sessions offered in-depth insight into base wines made from macabeo, garnacha negra, sumoll or xarel·lo, as well as multi-vintage and ancestral wines, among others. There were also training sessions with Riedel, Coravin and Trefinos.
The Wines: morning session
During the morning, more than one hundred wines could be tasted: three corpinnats and one base wine from the 2025 vintage, as well as wines from the nine wineries of Subsierra, which was the guest territory of this edition. Subsierra is an association of winegrowers that gathers family-run wineries from Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa committed to their land and to sustainability.
These are the wines tasted in the morning.

The Wines: afternoon session
In the afternoon, the professional audience tasted more than 100 corpinnats: four base wines and three finished corpinnats. These are the wines presented by the 21 wineries of the collective brand in the afternoon session.
