Pere Llopart and Roc Gramona take on the presidency and vice-presidency with the challenge of continuing to consolidate the collective brand

Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, 6 May 2025

The Corpinnat Association of Winegrowers and Producers (AVEC) has renewed its leadership. Ton Mata (Recaredo) and Xavier Nadal (Nadal), until now president and vice-president respectively, bring to a close a four-year term marked by the growth and recognition of the project.

Pere Llopart, co-owner and technical director of Llopart, has been elected as the new president of Corpinnat, heading the only list put forward in the association’s elections. He is joined by Roc Gramona, technical director of Gramona, as vice-president. The candidacy was approved unanimously this Monday, 5 May, by the AVEC members’ general assembly.

With this handover, the Board of Directors has also been renewed and is now made up of:

  • President: Pere Llopart (Llopart)
  • Vice-president: Roc Gramona (Gramona)
  • Secretary: Xavier Bernet (Júlia Bernet)
  • Treasurer: Xavier Nadal (Nadal)
  • Board members: Marcel Sabaté (Sabaté i Coca), Ferran Junoy (Recaredo) and Toni de la Rosa (Torelló)

Ton Mata will remain linked to AVEC as the representative of his personal project, Bufadors, while Ferran Junoy takes over the representation of Recaredo in the assembly and on the board of directors.

Stepping down is Jaume Mata, the association’s managing director and secretary in recent years, who is leaving with this change of cycle to begin a well-deserved retirement. Mata has been key in Corpinnat’s early steps and its institutional consolidation.

Thanks to the outgoing Board and welcome to the new leadership

AVEC wishes to express its deep gratitude to the outgoing Board of Directors, especially Ton Mata and Xavier Nadal, for their dedication, leadership and vision. Their commitment has been fundamental in turning Corpinnat into a solid, respected collective brand and a benchmark for quality sparkling wine in the country.

We also wish to recognise the contribution of Jaume Mata, who, with high standards and perseverance, has accompanied the project from its beginnings to the present day, contributing decisively to its development and reach.

In the same spirit of collaboration and collective purpose, we welcome the new Board of Directors, led by Pere Llopart and Roc Gramona, whom we thank for their willingness and enthusiasm to keep growing Corpinnat with rigour, coherence and commitment to its founding values.

Continuity and first public event

The new leadership keeps the project’s roadmap and commitments intact: “We continue to move forward along the path we have set, convinced of our unconditional commitments: territory, ecology, quality, historic varieties, hand harvesting and vinification on the estate”, said the new president, Pere Llopart.

The day-to-day management of the organisation will continue under managing director Carles del Amor.

The new Board’s first public event will take place on Monday 12 May, with the presentation of the fifth edition of the Corpinnat gastronomic festival, a series of summer dinners at the wineries with prestigious chefs. This initiative, launched in 2021 to support the restaurant sector after the pandemic, has become a highlight of the food and wine calendar.

“We continue to move forward along the path we have set, convinced of our unconditional commitments: territory, ecology, quality, historic varieties, hand harvesting and vinification on the estate”
