CORPINNAT presents its model to the Catalan business community at Pimec’s headquarters
Pere Llopart: “at CORPINNAT we are changing the paradigm and charting the path for the future, betting on quality and preserving the land and future generations”

CORPINNAT presented its project to the Catalan business community at an event held at Pimec’s headquarters to mark CORPINNAT joining the small and medium-sized business employers’ association as a collective member. “For us, partnering with Pimec is a natural and at the same time very important alliance”, which represents a step forward in collaboration with Catalonia’s productive fabric, according to CORPINNAT president Pere Llopart. The event was presided over by the President of the Parliament of Catalonia, Josep Rull.
In front of more than a hundred Catalan business leaders, CORPINNAT president Pere Llopart and Pimec president Antoni Cañete held a conversation in which they explained the CORPINNAT model, which produces quality sparkling wines in the heart of the Penedès. During the conversation they set out the values and commitments of the EU collective brand, which works under one of the most demanding sets of rules in the world: manual and organic harvesting, winemaking entirely on the estate, long ageing, commitment to historical varieties, and estate-owned vineyards or long-term contracts with a guaranteed minimum price for the winegrower. “We were born out of the need to champion a way of working focused on quality and commitment to the land”, explained Pere Llopart.
At CORPINNAT, the president explained, “we are changing the paradigm and charting the path for the future, betting on quality and preserving the land and future generations”.
The youth of the brand, made up of historic companies, and the lack of public funding because it is not a DO are two of the main challenges the brand faces, as Pere Llopart explained. “Beyond recognition from public institutions, we need financial support behind it”, he stated.
Pere Llopart highlighted that the alliance with the small and medium-sized business employers’ association is a “natural step, given our shared values, and a very important one”. “We are joining forces in defending SMEs and connecting with business projects that work with the same values of quality, innovation and commitment to the country as we do”.
Attendees at the event enjoyed a professional tasting of sparkling wines led by the heads of the wineries.
