The Guía Peñín 2027 places Corpinnat at the forefront of Spain’s great sparkling wines.

Its wineries produced most of the sparkling wines scoring more than 95 points, notably Llopart’s Llegat Familiar 2012 BN, awarded the top score: 100 points.

The Guía Peñín 2027 was compiled after tasting 9,400 wines made by 2,000 wineries across Spain. In addition to the 100 points for Llopart’s Llegat Familiar 2012 BN, in previous editions Recaredo’s Homenatge a Josep Mata Capellades 2004 BN and Enoteca Gramona 2011 BN achieved the same score.

Likewise, in the latest Guía Peñín 2027, Recaredo’s Turó d'en Mota 2012 and Gramona’s Celler Batlle 2015 Brut Nature also received excellent ratings, both with 99 points, while Juvé & Camps’ La Siberia 2016 BN obtained the highest score among rosés, with 97 points. In total, 22 sparkling wines made by eleven Corpinnat wineries scored 95 points or more, out of a total of 37 sparkling wines that reached this score in the Guía Peñín.

The scores in the latest edition of the Guía Peñín reaffirm Corpinnat’s commitment to the values that define the brand: origin, organic viticulture, estate winemaking, long ageing and recognition of the work of the winegrowers in the heart of the Penedès.

The Corpinnat collective brand currently comprises 23 wineries in an area regarded as the cradle of great sparkling wines. Here, climate, soil and vineyard management are decisive factors for quality organic production. These values, together with winemaking entirely on the estate and long ageing, define a model based on excellence and on commitment to the entire value chain, from vineyard to winery.
