Mas Bertran is a family winery located in Sant Martí Sarroca, in the heart of Penedès. Founded in 2005 and run by cousins Eva and Roser, the project was born of a desire to keep the family’s winemaking tradition alive and to reclaim the roots of the territory through careful, honest winemaking.
The winery works mainly with Xarel·lo and Sumoll Negre, historic Penedès varieties that bring identity and singularity to its wines and sparkling wines. The old vines, farmed with respectful, minimal-intervention practices, are the starting point of a philosophy that seeks to convey the purity of the landscape and the strength of the terroir in every bottle.
With limited production and a clear commitment to quality, Mas Bertran combines respect for tradition with an innovative, sustainable outlook. The result is a collection of wines and sparkling wines that express authenticity, character and the true essence of Penedès.
