The winery
The fourth generation of the Sabaté i Coca family cares for, works and pays tribute to a 40-hectare estate in the Bitlles valley. The desire to understand the estate’s different terroirs led Marcel Sabaté to apply differentiated viticulture according to the 18 soil profiles identified. The Castellroig range expresses all the harmony and complexity of the estate’s more than 60 micro-plots. The singular terroirs, which yield wines of vibrant varietal typicity that express the minerality of the vineyard, are vinified separately. These are the single-site wines: Terroja, Josep Coca and Terroja de Sabaté i Coca (from Xarel·lo vines over 100 years old).
Corpinnat was born in the heart of Penedès from the union of winegrowing families who, generation after generation, have devoted our lives to the vineyard and to winemaking.
